Everything billing-related lives in Settings → Billing. This guide covers how to view your invoice history, update your payment method, understand how you're charged, and cancel if you need to.
AIMS bills monthly or annually depending on your chosen plan. Your billing date is set on the day you first subscribe — for example, if you subscribe on the 14th, you'll be billed on the 14th of every month. Tokens refresh on the same date.
Unused tokens do not roll over. If you have 300 tokens remaining on your billing date, they are reset to zero when your new allowance is applied. Plan your generation workload accordingly — if you consistently have leftover tokens, you may be on a plan larger than you need.
Go to Settings → Billing.
Click "Update Payment Method."
Enter your new card details in the secure Stripe payment form.
Click "Save." Your new card will be charged on the next billing date.
AIMS uses Stripe for all payment processing. Your card details are never stored on AIMS servers — they are encrypted and held by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
All invoices are available in Settings → Billing → Invoice History. Each invoice shows the date, amount charged, plan name, and payment status. Click "Download PDF" on any invoice to get a printable receipt suitable for expense reporting or accounting.
Invoices are also emailed to the account owner's address on each billing date. If you need invoices sent to a different address (e.g., an accounts payable team), contact support and we can configure an alternative billing email.
If a payment fails, AIMS will retry the charge after 3 days, then again after 5 days. During this period your account remains active. If the payment fails after three attempts, your account is paused — you can still access your library and download previously generated assets, but generation is disabled until the payment issue is resolved.
To resolve a failed payment: go to Settings → Billing and follow the prompt to update your payment method or retry the charge.
To cancel: Settings → Billing → "Cancel Subscription." Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to the full feature set and your token allowance until that date. After cancellation, your account moves to a free tier with read-only access to your library (you can still view and download assets you've already created).
Cancelling does not delete your data. Your Product Library, Brand Kit, and generation history are retained for 12 months after cancellation. If you re-subscribe within that period, everything is exactly where you left it.

After 7 days, payments are non-refundable. Annual plan refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support.
